    Talking New Member From Ohio

    Hi All,

    I'm a new member here, although I have been reading posts for a couple of weeks to "get the lay of the land". Very interesting and informative info to be found here.

    I've been shooting various guns for fun and competition since the mid 1950s. Got my first .22 rifle at 14, shot in NRA Junior Rifle program, shot on rifle team in the Army for a while, shot IHMSA big and small bore for a number of years until the eyes began to age.

    My wife and I are new to defensive shooting. Took the Ohio CHL course in March and learned of this site from our instructor. Got our CHLs a couple of weeks ago. Wife hasn't carried yet, but I have a few times. Went out to dinner the other night and she didn't know I was carrying till we got back home and I told her, so I guess the didn't notice either . Looking forward to learning a lot here (actually, already have) and will contribute what I can.
