Hello all, new here.
Hello all, new here and I have my permit like most of you do.
A few nights ago while pulling into a super america gas station parking lot I noticed a cop was parked and inside the store which is a good thing. Once I parked I saw 2 men, 1 whom I recognized as my cousins friend and another guy that I don't recognize. I was certain they are both alcoholics because my cousins friend is also an alcoholic. I was with a friend of mine in my car and the other guys were filling up gas in their Audi car and the bizarre part comes when the one who was in the drivers seat comes out and starts asking me to give him a ride to Cedar/Riverside and I told him I don't know you and kept walking and when my friend and I went inside to buy some smokes we noticed that the 2 guys pulled their Audi car next to our car and we immediately knew the one who needed the ride to Cedar was up to no good because there is no
Logic in asking a stranger for a ride when you have your own car that you just filled up gas with. I spoke with the cop inside and made him aware that 1 guy told me he has to drive to St. Louis Park and wants me to give the driver of the car he was in a ride to Cedar/Riverside which is suspicious because I don't know them very well and they just filled up gas and that I refused but I just noticed they pulled up next to my car even though I clearly refused and the cop said he will keep an eye on them and go outside with us. The cop waited outside and observed them and as I was approaching my car I told them I just reported them to the cop and if they don't want to be arrested they should get in their car and drive away and they did.
I have a strong feeling the only reason a person would be that desperate for me to give him a ride when he has his own car (even if he is driving someone elses car) is no other reason but to steal my car or rob me. When I watched that Star Trek movie Spock said something about "To always go with the answer ruled out however higher improbable it may be and I ruled out robbery or Grand Theft Auto."

Was Spock or you trying to say this?

Your post, to read, difficult it is.

I think something like that happened to me one time.
I pre-date Spock, I'm more familiar with the Matt Dillon/Gunsmoke type of advice. He's good at what he does too.

Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.
