WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT RAINS IN WASHINGTON!!!!!!!!!!! someone forgot to tell me!!!!!!!!!.

Ohhhh you must live on the west side of the mountains? That explains it!

Welcome neighbor, I guess us easterners will accept you CCW'rs that live over on the liberal side of the state.

Enjoy the site & remember to keep learning.
Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.

Welcome to the forum. My wife and I will be making our first trip to Washington in April. We are going to visit friends in Vancouver. They moved there from Tulsa, OK last year. Enjoy the forum.

Welcome Macattack. I'm a veteran of the YAK-Attack over on the eastern side of the mountains. I was stationed at Fort Lewis from 1980-84 and spent a big chunk of my time at the Yakima Firing Center. Annual wargames were referred to as the YAK-Attack. I really miss Seattle. Pike Market. Eddie Bauer. REI Co-op. Space Needle Revolving Restaurant. Being single and forever on the hunt.... ~sigh~ I got a CCW permit for about $15 when I was there. My military ID was all I needed.

Useful hint: Find an IDPA Club, join and enjoy!

Mac- I usually go to the Bullseye range in Tacoma. I work downtown Seattle and live in DuPont (outside Ft Lewis). When it's not raining I prefer the outdoor range at the Tacoma Sportsman's Club( needless to say I only go there a couple of times a year!) Anyway welcome, from another Noob. Definitely go get your CCW, it only takes a few minutes of your time and is more than worth it.

I was stationed at Lewis from 1980-84 9th ID 1st Bde . I lived in Olympia.

Ft Lewis had a great Rod & Gun club with ranges, especially a skeet range. Think they had handgun ranges too. We (junior officers) used to open a weekend range for personal handguns thru range control with the bosses blessing.

Wait, there used to be a range and gunshop on the road to Puyallup Geeze it's been 26 years, but it was a great place. Bought my very first 1911 there. A Remington Rand, customized. Still have that gun.
