Welcome from Ohio. I've been to San Antonio a couple times in the past when the Air Logistics Center was open at the base. I love the Tex-Mex food down there, but the bars on the doors and windows of most of the houses was a bit disconcerting.

You were just on the wrong side of town...the West side. Every city has it slums, but go any direction away from Lackland and it gets nice.

    Thanks for all the welcomes

    Welcome from South Carolina.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
