Welcome from the Ozarks. My brother goes to church somewhere in KC. He got a permit and bought a pistol to carry so they could go to church. A friend went to Rockhurst to watch his kid play baseball this spring. During the day game, he heard gunshots in the neighborhood. That is when I got my butt in gear and sent off for a permit and bought a P3AT. When I went to Rockhurst to watch my kid play a game, I had the pistol, but not the permit, so I watched from the top of the hill close to the car. I heard gunshots, and they sounded like they were within a city block. It was during the day near a nice university. It is really unbelievable how out of touch I had become living out in the sticks.

And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

Welcome from the Kansas side
Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.
