    Blue Bomber checking in...

Hey ya'll! I was searching around the internet and found this site. I went shooting for the first time 2 weeks ago and had a great time. I didnt do too well, we were aiming at some Coke bottles we set up a few yards away. I think I hit one out of nine or ten shots. I also found out why you need ear protection. I think I went deaf on the first shot because the rest of the time it wasnt that bad.
That was with a friends Ruger 9mm...I think. My dad's .22 rifle was much better. There wasnt much sound, just a little "pop" (of course I was still a little deaf) and I hit a few more bottles.
sorry for the rambling, I just wanted to stop in and say hi.
    current guns owned:
1)fingers in the shape of a gun+making "BANG" sounds.
    2)pocket full of rocks

Welcome to the forum from Virginia. Always wear hearing protection when shooting, once it's gone you never get it back.

    Welcome from Montana.

When you use glass bottles for targets, I sure hope you clean up your mess when you're done.

When youíre wounded and left on Afghanistanís plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

    Welcome from Michigan!
If you have never broken your gun or bled on your gun in training, you're doing it wrong!
