Hello, all!
I was directed to this site by an Admin on a snowmobile site I frequent during a thread I made about CCW. I applied for my pistol permit/CCW back in February when I turned 21 and just got it last week finally. I've been around guns since I was just a wee lad and my father taught me all the right habits and made me take classes for hunting and gun safety. I'm glad he did, too. I got my permit so I could use his pistols and so my lovely state couldn't take them when the day comes he no longer has need for them. This site seems to have great members and a wealth of information and I am glad to have found it. I will continue to search and post as I do research for my first gun, holster, and the legal aspect of carrying in NYS. I only hope the members here don't dismiss me due to my young age. I take this very seriously and I think I've got a good head on my shoulders.
