    New member in Texas

    Hello all. Been reading some threads for a few days and I am impressed with this forum. Love the sections about "Carry and Defensive Scenarios" and "Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options." Good stuff. I've had my CHL for just over a year. I haven't been able to get my wife interested in guns yet, or in her ever carrying one. But I haven't given up. I'm confident that it's just a fear of the unknown and the programming a lot of us received growing up that "uh, guns are bad, mm-kay?" as Mr. Mackey would say.
