Couch here from Circle City, CA
I've been lurking DC for a while now, just joined not too long ago and I'm finally posting after getting a feel for the forum.
I'm a machinist by day and a cyclist by night. I machine all my own components for my bikes and recently started working on a commander sized 1911. I plan on machining my own frame and a few of the internals. I'll be picking up a G27 in the very near future to hold me over and hopefully be my carry gun if I end up carrying a firearm. I daily carry a CKRT KISS Two Timer, more of a handy tool than a DW.
I live in a pretty quiet town, however I am out at night riding or walking with my dog alone. He can bite, but no where near as bad as a .40 S&W hollowpoint. CCW is a PITA to get here which is why I am going with a baby Glock to be as discrete as possible if I end up OCing. I'd much rather CC than OC, we'll see if the laws change in our favor ::cough::doubt it::cough::
Anyways, as I said earlier, I've been lurking for a while and I am pumped on all the useful information I've read so far.
