Sometimes I wonder who the old man in the mirror is....
Lord, Grant me a good sword and no need to use it.
Among the discussion forums out there, I'd say this is one of the more sane and rational. There are a lot of good folks here.
Of course, any barrel of apples is going to have one or two that are "wormy" to the core, or that stink and infect the barrel. But the moderating staff is fairly good at taking out the garbage.
BTW, it's tough to tell a place by the signature lines alone. Better to rely on the depth and quality of the discussions, IMO, as a primary indicator.
Still, there is a lot of truth in some siggys. "Extremist" though some may seem. I tend to find the ones here are more accurately reflective of the degree of quality of thinking that many of the folks personify.

I may not agree with everything a man says, but I'll risk my life to allow him to say what he wants.

Samuel Colt did"
I didn't read the rest of the posts so if it's been said already forgive me. I too disagree with some of the posts. It's part of being Human and American. You'll find folks here have strong beliefs. The website is immersed in a hotly debated topic. For those reasons and probably some others there will be some heated discussions here and some of us (me included) may overstate our cases. The important thing I've found is that win/lose/draw we all pretty much part friends. Sometimes we have to agree to disagree. Stick around. State your opinion. Worst that can happen is you'll learn something.
Sorry I'm so late.
Welcome from Virginia.
I would guess that you have found out.by now that there is a good mix of 2A topics here. Rational debates and good humor, not to mention a great bunch of people with a ton of good information.
