    Checking in from WA

    Just last week I applied for my WA-state CPL, and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

    Not a current gun owner, but am in the market for a shottie and a handgun over the coming months.

    Really enjoying the feedback and discussion on this board. Looking forward to learning a TON!

    Be sure to do some good legal reading, training, practice, before you start carrying for real. I know WA does not have a requirement, but it is wise to have personal standards.

    Thanks nutz! I plan to go through a series of courses and spend a considerable amount of time out at the local ranges prior to any carrying. Just really wanted to get the paperwork out of the way, if/when I decide to carry.
