Hello from Ohio
I've been lurking around here for a little bit (referred by a friend) and I have to say, I'm hooked. This site has been up on my work computer constantly over the last few days.
I own a Springfield Armory XD9 4" as well as a Ruger P94 .40cal. I've been an avid shooter for the last 9 years and am scheduled to take my CCW class Nov 1st. I've read that Franklin County in Ohio has very fast turn around times on permits so hopefully I'll be carrying soon.
After pulling my hair out over the number of holsters available, and lots of review reading, I ordered an MTAC Spartan. I opted to save a few dollars since I always wear undershirts so the fasteners shouldn't bother me.
Other than my XD, I carry a Smith and Wesson M&P knife with spring assist and an Olight M20 Warrior flashlight.
Anyway, I look forward to soaking up some knowledge around here in the future!

Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
