Well, I got referred to this site by a friend because I was asking him if he knew whether or not OK honored UT permits so I could carry while I'm here. I just felt naked without it for the first few weeks. I've since learned that, as of now, yes they do. I'm 22 yrs old and vet of OIF, I love this country and it's second ammendment. I got my CCP just a few days after I got home, and my baby hasn't left my side since, with the obvious exceptions. I own a Springfield XD-.40 Sub Compact. Haven't used it a ton, but haven't had any problems yet. I was reading some of the "what would you do" threads earlier and they were very interesting. So many different people and points of view. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from the vets of the CCW world.

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
