Hello all. This is an excellent site. I look forward to leaning as much as possible and sharing my experiences as well. Unfortunately, I live in the People's Republic of Maryland where concealed carry is almost impossible. I did however recently apply for my CCW (I own a business and make frequent cash deposits. I also believe in having the ability to protect myself and family in any situation, but that isn't reason enough to carry here in MD.
If you can carry a lock blade folder in your state and work with it unto it becomes as a part of you, you will find it is very fast and very deadly.
I can draw and deploy my lock blade folder faster than my firearm.
Some will say it does not go bang, but if I can smell his breath I can reach out and touch faster with lock blade folder than some thing that can hurt other beside smelly breath.
Don't know law in your state just a thought if knife carry is allowed and firearm carry not allowed.
