Hi All,
My name is Geoff, a Brit resident in Taiwan now for the past 10 years.
No CCW here but a locknife up to 3 inch blade length is legal as is pepper spray.
No private gun ownership.
That said , this is the safest place I have ever been, and I've been all over!
Hope to learn new stuff opn this forum

Welcome, when I was there 50+ years ago it was Formosa and we brought 6 five inch and 2 three inch guns. Maybe that contributed to some of the safety.

Welcome from the Ozarks. I had a little business there back in the seventies. Stayed at a fantastic hotel kind of up a hill called the Grand Hotel. It was up there with the Raffles in Singapore and the Oriental in Bangkok. Haven't been back in 35 years. Those fabulous old hotels are probably gone by now.
