    Hello from Pittsburgh, PA

    Hello, I just joined and I am looking forward to participating in good discussions regarding the defensive use of a firearm.

    I have been shooting, carrying, competing and instructing since the mid-80s. I was a former U.S. Army Officer and served as a full-time active duty LEO for 13 years.

    My wife and I have been firearms instructors since the early 90s and have had the chance to attend training with many of the top instructors in this country.

    We moved to Pittsburgh PA seven years ago and now own our own business. My wife and I are avid baseball fans - go Pirates! We currently have one boxer (our 5th) and are planning to add another one this year.

    My EDC gun is a Glock 19, in a Kramer belt scabbard. My wife's is a Glock 26 carried in a F.I.S.T. ultra-thin kydex IWB holster.

    Currently, I try to shoot several times a month for practice as well as participate in one IDPA match every month.
