Actually a bit of youthful enthusiasm is refreshing for some of us cynical old geezers to see Brian. It is important however to understand how deadly serious the responsibility is when you choose to carry a gun for self defense. Some good reading for you would be "In The Gravest Extreme" by Mas Ayoob, available at Amazon.

Alright William I will have to purchase that book. Thanks for giving me the link for it. Now I do understand the responsibility for carrying a firearm. It is not something to play around with or just to pull out because I can. It is only to be used in the defense of my own or someone else's life. I have been through many combatives courses, martial arts, ppct and weapons courses and I fully understand that using a firearm is ONLY a last resort. I also have Fox 5.3 pepper spray and a kubaton for protection before I would have to use the PT1911. Thanks for the advice and input though as I really do appreciate it William. Brian.

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.

If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics stink.

    Welcome from the wetlands
Timid people sleep peacefully at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
