There's other forms of self defense as I'm sure you know. If I couldn't carry, I'd absolutely look at one or several of those as an alternative. I'd still look into the CC though, those four little gifts are worth the hassle and hoops.I don't CCW because frankly I'm 27, live in Los Angeles County and don't think it's even a possibility for me, just based on what I've read and heard (basically that it's very hard unless you're a gunsmith or a jeweler etc), despite one or two potentially qualifying attributes (just not sure if they would be good reason).
