    Hello from Northern CA

    I just wanted to introduce myself and compliment everyone on the wealth of information they provide.
    I am fairly new to firearms and have tried to educate myself as much as I can. Unfortunately I do not have a license yet since it is next to impossible to get one in my county here in CA, but would like to in the future. It may mean moving to another state Still, I enjoy reading about the different firearms members choose for CC. It gives me an idea for future purchases.
    My main firearm is a modest S&W Sigma 9 mm.

    What county? I live in Northern Cali and I was able to get on fairly easy. I do know some of the cities are pretty strict about giving out concealed permits though. You can't even buy ammo in San Francisco, or even have it shipped to you unless you are FFL!!

    I'm in Solano County. Which county are you in? Ironically, some counties in the bay area do issue them. Doesn't make much sense. Yeah San Francisco is really bad in that regard.
