Bad, Officer Down, BG dealt with quickly

A friend on one of the other Motorcycle Forums I hang out on is dealing with the loss of his friend, bike riding buddy and fellow officer killed in the line of duty.

The Chronicle-Telegram - Lorain County's leading news source

Patrolman James Kerstetter, Elyria Police Department

Fortunately the Bad Guy was sent to the front row in the Court of Jesus. That is a blessing to the Community. At least there will be no way to drag out the trial and punishment will be swift and eternal.

My friend was one of the responding Officers and with the mandatory administrative leave he has too much time on his hand to think about his Buddy.

Prayers out to Officer Kerstetters Family.

Very sad for all co-workers and family...may Officer Kerstetter R.I.P.
I'm glad the oxygen wasting dirtbag who did this is dead.

I hate these storys, but they will unfortunately always be a fact of life unfortunately

May God rest Patrolman James Kerstetter's soul and give his family, friends, and coworkers comfort.

May his killer's soul rot in Hell for all eternity for killing a hero.

Timid people sleep peacefully at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

"As for Palmer, the 58-year-old man was shot and killed by two Elyria police officers near his 18th Street home and sustained multiple gunshot wounds, Matus said. It will be weeks before full toxicology results are back, Matus said."

Toxicology report? No problem... died of acute lead poisoning. I only wonder how many rounds were administered.

RIP Officer Kerstetter. Your next patrol will be a cakewalk.
