Thugs slay Bronx father who rescued teen from attack
This is just sick!
"For saving his life, we're going to take yours now," one of the attackers allegedly told Orlando Salgado, 26, before coldly plunging a knife into the good Samaritan's chest, said his heartbroken girlfriend, Reinalice Roman.

Yet, there will be some (or many) that say this murderers life is worth saving.
I say society's proper response for this murder should be swift execution (after a fair trial of course) and the instrument of execution should be the 'guillotine'.
Just my 2 cents.

Sad, very sad. What is even worst is that the law makers there are forever firm in their perverted belief that the citizens within NEW York City should be defenseless. The thugs know this and use it to their advantage. Where the people can at least have a choice to arm themselves or not, the thugs are less likely to infest at will.

That's walking distance from where I once lived. It was still a decent enough neighborhood back then, but that was a long long time ago.
Sounds like the guy interrupted or interfered with some gang related retaliation against that 16 year old, not that it matters. Disgusting, no matter the motive.

Proving once again...
Life is cheap for some folks....
Those who suggested a "dull blade"....I agree....
Some RUST on it would help, too!!!
But.....NOT a guillotine....Too quick!!
A pen-knife...toes and fingers FIRST!!!
Here's a case where, literally, IMHO....
