... when Pickens walked outside to leave in a car Burgess shot her in the head with a handgun.

Eppert says Burgess told investigators she didn’t mean to shoot Pickens.
Shot a person in the head at close range, but didn't mean to shoot the person. Hm. Only a human could rationalize that.

Just watch: she'll undoubtedly claim innocence at her arraignment.

What the heck is with families and holidays......what's to be said after reading that.
We had a similar incident a few years back in town where on Christmas Day a guy comes out of his bedroom and point blank kills his brother in law sitting on the couch waiting to eat dinner right in front of the entire family............Geeezzz, that still makes me sick to think of it.

I would say that her standards are far lower than most, such that she'd engage in criminal, murderous action irrespective of the harm to others.

But she's neither insane nor crazy. Her own words prove that she both knew it was wrong and knew she had harmed someone.

Fact is, someone's dead because of her murderous actions. What we think of someone who could do such a thing is irrelevant, beyond what's proper as a penalty.

The mere fact that only tens of thousands in a population of 300M do what she did is irrelevant for determining if she has her synaptic faculties. Her coherent and reasonable dialog with the investigating officers shows she's as sane as you or I.

String her up. Pull the switch. Or, do whatever else is necessary to ensure she is eliminated from our midst. Far better than what's all too likely to happen. But, there it is.

The ham was okay, but the hot-lead salad was to die for.

Seriously, though, how difficult is it to just ask someone to leave if they are dressed or behaving inappropriately and leave it at that instead of following them out and........Ya, I know............I know.........
