    Sheena Edwards
New Orleans Police Department investigators on Monday arrested suspects in an early-morning slaying outside a 24-hour restaurant and in an unrelated shooting several hours later where the St. Roch and 7th Ward neighborhoods meet.
Sheena Edwards, 25, was jailed with one count of second-degree murder for allegedly helping her boyfriend gun down 25-year-old Travis Anderson in the parking lot of an IHOP in the 12000 block of the I-10 Service Road in eastern New Orleans, according to Orleans Parish Criminal District Court records.
Detectives later booked Joseph Norah, 29, and Sean Watts, 24, with attempted second-degree murder in connection to a drive-by shooting near the corner of Elysian Fields and North Claiborne avenues that wounded a 26-year-old man, records show.
During separate hearings Monday, a magistrate judge set all of their bonds at $500,000. Jail records indicated they all remained in custody Tuesday.
Anderson's murder happened about 1:15 a.m. Monday, while he was dining at the breakfast house with a friend. A man named Carl Labat, who police say dates Edwards, barged into the restaurant and began arguing with Anderson, court records show.

The two men stepped outside. Anderson's friend heard several gunshots, ran to the parking lot and found the 25-year-old lying on the pavement, bleeding from several bullet wounds. The friend called 911, but Anderson died before New Orleans EMS paramedics could treat him, according to authorities.
Investigators later learned that Labat and Edwards argued with Anderson at an eastern New Orleans men's club named Passions late Saturday night. Labat and Edwards, who investigators learned lived together in the 200 block of Sweet Pea Lane in Waggaman, allegedly threatened to murder Anderson and another person during the spat before leaving the club.

    Joseph Norah
Early Monday, Labat and Edwards allegedly showed up at the home of Anderson's companion at Passions and hurled more death threats. Labat and Edwards reportedly waved 9 mm and Ruger .40-caliber handguns while vowing to find Anderson, according to a police report.
Edwards and Labat left the home, and 30 minutes later, Anderson was shot dead. Several 9 mm casings surrounded his body, the police report shows.
Detectives on Monday headed to the Waggaman home where Edwards and Labat live. They spoke to Edwards and her parents there. Edwards then voluntarily drove to NOPD headquarters in the Mid-City area of New Orleans to make a statement.
She told her interrogators that Labat left his gun at the Waggaman house. She was jailed by Monday afternoon, the police report said.
Labat, who drives a black Ford F-150, apparently remained at large Tuesday. Records indicated that he was not in custody.
In the shooting at Elysian Fields and North Claiborne avenues, police allege in court documents that Norah and Watts followed the victim's car from Frenchmen Street about 4 a.m.

    Sean Watts
Norah drove a red Monte Carlo and pulled up next to the man at a red light. Watts pulled out a gun and fired numerous bullets at the victim, striking him at least three times.
The wounded man drove himself to LSU Interim Public Hospital to receive treatment, according to a police report. Meanwhile, Norah and Watts drove off, but an NOPD patrol car in the area spotted them.
Officers attempted to pull the Monte Carlo over, but Norah and Watts allegedly attempted to flee. After a brief car chase, Norah and Watts reportedly bailed out of the Monte Carlo in the 1600 block of Gov. Nicholls Street and ran to the third floor of a nearby apartment building.
They were handcuffed after a short search, the report said. The victim later identified Norah and Watts as his attackers, and investigators jailed them.
Anyone with information in either incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504.822.1111 or 877.903.7867. Callers do not have to leave their name or testify and can earn up to $2,500 for tips leading to indictments.

Well, they won't have any problem proving pre-meditation on this one. If things go well, we'll get rid of all three involved on this one.
