Wow. What was that, 14 shots in 5 seconds. And folks wonder why some scenarios end up with so many shots fired. Glad it worked out for the LEO.

After reading the comments and looking at the vid again, he had is light in his gun hand. I'm right handed and constantly making myself switch hands to keep my gun hand free. That's a good look at why.

HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) - A coroner's jury has found a Hamilton
police officer was justified in shooting a 36-year-old man to death
after he opened fire on the officer during a late-night traffic
    stop in January.
The jury heard five hours of testimony Tuesday, which included a
video that showed Raymond Davis of Hamilton pointing a .41-Magnum
pistol inches from Officer Ross Jessop's face and pulling the
trigger. The click of the revolver's hammer hitting a previously
fired round was audible in the recording.
Davis fired a second time as Jessop fell back and drew his own
weapon. Jessop fired his pistol 14 time into Davis' vehicle as it
sped away. One round hit Davis in the back and he died at the
    scene.
Witnesses testified that Davis had spent the earlier part of the
evening drinking and fighting with his girlfriend.

Holy chit, that cop was lucky.

And I am amazed that he was able to actually hit the driver with one of those shots. He was even calm at the end. Good training really does pay off!

Training paid off on this one. Glad the officer is ok, and cleared! Sorry for the victim, booze will definitely cause you to make bad decisions, he made his last one.
