Houston. Homeowner interrupts burglary
I really like the part about the police finding the "victim" think they confused scumbag with victim.
Homeowner interrupts burglary, shoots suspect at his house in northwest Harris County | abc13.com
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A homeowner interrupted a burglary at his house in northwest Harris County and shot the suspect.
It happened in the 10000 block of Heather Hill/Silver Star around 10:30am Wednesday morning. The suspect who was bleeding heavily ran off.
Police later found the burglary victim with a gunshot wound at a Popeye's restaurant on Veterans Memorial at West Mount Houston Road. He was taken into custody.

Good job for the homeowner. It's a shame the "victim" (Good job ABC...) will get treated, spend a week in jail, and then be released on probation. At least he doesn't know where the guy who shot him lives....oh... wait... nevermind.

I hate the media's wording and how they make it sound like the BG is a victim. He is victim of his own stupidity thats its. A hazard of the job in being a BG.

"Burglary victim" my butt. The guy is a criminal who got caught in the act. To bad the shooter did not double tap the scumbag on the wishbone. When I see reporting like this it makes me wanna puke.

More and more, Texans show they have their heads screwed on correctly with regard to criminals.

Practice? I read that the homeowner scored a hit to the face that ended the incident.
I don't think the report stated what type of firearm he used. But any firearm to the face will probably stop the burgular.
In my humble opinion, the best home defense is a 12 ga. taking into consideration distance to neighbors homes, etc.
