Bad: 2 Memphis Leo's Dead, 2 Wounded, 2 Drug Mule bad guys dead.

Reminds me of the Bonnie and Clyde car.

Suspects in police shooting killed in West Memphis shootout - WMC-TV: News, Weather, Traffic, Radar, and Sports for Memphis, TN; WMCTV.com |

It's like the shootout in Florida where the Sherriff Killing BG was shot 72 times.
That's all the ammunition we had with us.

I'm real saddened for the Officers familys, and at least the BG's are now in the Court of Eternal Llife.

    Wiping the tears away!

Sad day for so many families...may the officers R.I.P.

That van was riddled with bullets. Wow!

Indeed, thoughts with the LEOs affected.

"I knew there was something," motorist Bobby Hubble said. "They started pulling out vests, pulling out guns, AK-47's and stopped everything."
    AK-47s, really?

    Prayers and condolences.

I haven't been in West Memphis since the '60. But that was one rough strip just across the bridge where US70, US64 and two or three more main US Routes crossed the big muddy.

I don't know if the interstates have helped clean it up or made it worst. But its got to still be a major choke point for all kinds of illegal trafficking.

Just across the muddy Mississippi from home, I'm in San Diego on business this week and saw this on commercialappeal.com.

What a tragedy for the officers that were killed and those that were wounded...

I'd say the best coverage on this is by WREG Channel 3. They actually had cameras present when the final shootout in the Walmart parking lot happened. Follow the link to watch the video and others from today's news coverage of this.

Two officers killed in the line of duty

Guys and Gals no matter what your feelings are toward LEO's please take a moment to remember the families and departments of two officers killed on a traffic stop in West Memphis, Arkansas.
The officers worked on a drug interdiction task force on one of the major drug routes through my state.
They stopped a van with Ohio tags and the suspects engaged them with assault rifles killing them both.
In a later gun battle two more officers were shot and the suspects were killed.
The van had been stolen(?) from Clinton county Ohio and was registered to a white supremist church that had been closed for over 10 years.
No ID has been made on the suspects that I have found yet.

From the Dayton Daily Snooze, Friday, May 21, 2010 [note the "Aryan White Supremacist Church" connection to small-town Ohio, a so-called church that was abandoned and closed a long time ago. Thank God they were not militamen or Tea Party people, although they did not love government, but expect this angle and aspect to be milked by old-media people]:

Former Springfield man suspected in deaths of two police officers

I express no empathy, sympathy or remorse toward these two murderous criminals, especially that father who led his teenaged son to such death and murder with guns...assault weapons or not, may they burn in Hell.
