Now, that is a person who understands the problem of illegal immigration and the cancer it represents on the social underpinnings of our existence as one People. Hear, hear. Tom McClintock, hm? Worth remembering.

Of course, it was a speech delivered to an empty room. Typical.

Mr. Obama and the rest of the people with hands on the reins (in the Senate and Congress) ... are you listening, yet? Nope, and therein lies much of the problem. Enforce the damned laws. Stop dawdling, y'all, and get to the job you've been hired to perform. Perform it ... or be ejected.

Mr. Calderon, take a hike and get your own house in order, sir. Get to it ... or be ejected. Get control of your coyotes and criminals fleeing the cess pool ... or, may we have spine enough to eject them, too. But whatever else, do not dare suggest that disarming upstanding American citizens from defending against cross-border drug cartel criminals will actually help you gain control of those drug cartel criminals, Mr. C. That sort of illogical, unworkable, weak plea is beneath you. You don't actually believe any senator would swallow such a message whole, do you? (Actually, he probably does. So do I, I'm sorry to say.)

As for those of divided allegiance, that's where the bulk of the threat comes from, I think. At 10pm when walking a few blocks from the theatre to the car, when a person is assailed by aggressors in the darker corners of the parking lot, it's by people with allegiance to things other than Liberty, a person's right to defend himself and loved ones, a person's right to life, a person's right to bear arms in defense of that life (or for any other reason), and a person's right to be secure in one's own home ... this home, our American home. Absolutely.

Unfortunately, the people who should be listening, aren't because they've got their heads so far up their ***** that they can't hear a word Mc. says.
Now that the sleeping giant is stirring, a lot more politico's are pretending to care what we think. I still say, vote them all out. They need a lesson!

He wasn't engaging in the typical sound-byte crap so well-loved by the wolves in sheep's clothing ... so, no. He'd never make it. He wouldn't appear centrist, on that basis alone. He seems to see the truth and to tell it that way. That ain't how you get elected.

Though, the "sleeping giant" is at least yawning, having been disturbed from REM sleep. Perhaps there's a chance, at least, of cessation of the malfeasance he speaks of. Really, 95% of what's needed is to simply ENFORCE THE LAWS we already have, instead of criminally ignoring them while continuing to take a monthly salary check for failing to do it.
