If you approach someone's house wearing a mask, and it's not halloween, you deserve to get shot. I personally think that should relieve the homeowner of any responsibility to figure out if you are armed or not.

I didn't think anyone followed people home to confront them if they are older than 18. I stopped getting that excited behind the wheel a few years ago when I came to the realization that I'm not the only one carrying a gun. Not to mention, life is too short to get that excited because some tool cuts you off.

Word of advise to everyone, situational awareness. If being followed, don't go to your home. Go to a public place with lots of people, or a police station, dial 911 en route. Now, if you don't have a chioce and the situation gets stupid, well, that's another matter entirely.

Everything the guy did after the incident proves intent, and in some states would get him a murder charge,he conspired to attack the homeowner and as a result a homicide occurred

Well at least the dirtbag who followed this guy home doesn't have to worry about a murder charge......but the friends who accompanied him might need to worry.
I find no fault with what the homeowner did.

That's exactly what I was thinking. What did he expect? That homeowner was clearly still on high alert, he saw him coming, was prepared and defended himself. The fact that driver #1 left, got a friend, came back with a mask(s?) and appoached the house....how could anyone assume that the masked person didn't have a gun.

He went to get his tough buddy because he didn't have the wear-with-all to make his own point. He got his buddy killed. Dumb buddy for going with him in the first place. I agree on the murder charge. Stopping to pick up reinforcements, covering your face, etc., etc., etc., all points towards premeditation to me.

To each his own. I've seen a lot of "stupid" and there was no hope for most of them!

Talk about a coward. Get involved in a road rage incident and send your buddy with a mask on to confront the other driver!

Missouri's Castle Doctrine would protect the homeowner from a civil suit if the investigate shows it was a clean shooting. Don't know about CT.

Yep, one of the guys in the road rage incident had to follow the other home. Then he returned with his masked friend who is now deceased. Some of these nutcases cannot let a little traffic boo boo pass.
