Bravo Zulu on that gate guard doing an outstanding job!

Let's see: two stupid people with multiple firearms each, one AWOL, try to gain access to MacDill.........

We can speculate to this pair's intentions but I'm intrested in the 'why'?

pretty interresting.. a similar story i found on fox - Man arrested at Ga. Army base had land mine, laser sight in bag, but not terror threat. its thought to be unrelated.. i don't know, sounds to unlikely to be coincidental.

What's weird to me is, why in the world tell anyone, (especially the media) what's going on with these people. It's our military and times are not all that great for safety anymore. Shouldn't let our guard down at all. It's none of our business that this even happened. Taking a precaution and treating this like it is a planned deal with more than just the two of them, now, the possible "rest" of them know how they were caught. If I know about it, they know about it. They should have just let them in the gate and then made them be gone. IMO, if you enter a military base uninvited, (especially with weapons) you should be guilty until proven innocent.

Red Cell? Adjusting tin foil now. Crazy story.
I prefer to live dangerously free than safely caged!

I read in the local Kansas news that the AWOL army soldier was stationed at ft. Riley, ks.
