What in the world was the officer that had her in his car thinking?? Just because she was a cop, she can't have an accident with a firearm? She still should have been shaken down for weapons. This could have got him killed.

Wonder what the guy in the car next to him was thinking. I'm sure the driving officer is at the hospital now getting some upholstery surgically removed from where the sun don't shine.

If they weren't doing a "cover-up" why were they taking her home?

Well, I'll bet she's not going to work in law enforcement in that city ever again!

    WOW!!!

I can understand looking out for one of your own and I don't have a problem with that but all involved are going to wish it never happened.

That was my very first thought.

She required not one but two grown men to carry her out.
She required police to come get her in the first place (!).
She was clearly not just intoxicated but drunken as beased on what is seen of her body composure and slurred speech in the first part of the video. I'd bet a box of donuts she was failing on any and standards of drunkenness as required by that state.
    She was drunk in public.

What more or is required for an arrest?

If this were me or anyone else they would have been cuffed, _SEARCHED_, and not been given a free ride home on tax payer time & dollars via the city PD taxi service.

They already tried to cover it up from the gitgo, and her discharging the firearm in a city car only escalated things to a point where it could no longer be reasonably covered up.

    But yeah, 'full disclosure'.

Who says you can't get to an ankle holster!

Yeah, I would not have been afforded the same kindness in the same situation. I wonder if they can pull her certification?
