    5 shootings in one day...?!?

    Syracuse Police investigate 4 shootings in 4 hours : News : WSTM NBC3

    Syracuse, NY is having another one of those summers..... 4 shootings in 4 hours, and then another last night.

    Does it make sense that Onondaga county has the strictest level of CC permits in Upstate, NY? I know people who live in Syracuse who have been denied CC permits. Or they get "restricted" that only allows sportsman carry during certain times of the year etc.....

    I think this city is a good example of the more restrictive you make gun laws, the more you give thugs a clear path to shoot whenever they want. Thugs in Syracuse can be reasonably sure that their victims are unarmed.

    The article is very vague. They don't say who was doing the shooting.
    Whether it was hand guns or rifles. They mention one guy being shot. I assume there were others. Not much content.

    That's because they all just happened..... they have not investigated enough to release any details....I did hear one shotgun was used in one of them.

    But most of the shootings in Syracuse are handgun shootings. Maybe of those are gang-on-gang related.
