You know I thought the same thing. You might of read the thread about the 85 YO woman that did the same thing. All I can think of is that the elderly grew up in a time when the vast majority were honest and trustworthy so they mistakenly trust everyone.

You kidding me? the past seemed plenty violent to me!

Some people are more trusting than others, regardless of experience. Fortunately, some also take precautions, should their trust be misplaced. Not the best solution, but better than none.

I remember an older fire chief in this volunteer fire department I used to run with had a great saying: Old age and treachery will overcome youth and vigor any day.

It amazes me how people just open their doors to anyone who knocks.

Yeah you gotta watch them old folks, if there to old to fight ya they just may have to kill ya......... :wink: Good job Mr. Stewart !
