Video Scenario Review
Good lord...
I just saw this video on google, and wanted the boards take on how this played out. I would not be surprised if this guy actually wound up with a massive civil lawsuit on his hands. He even drags the body from the location!

I briefly took this out of view until I'd checked the vid - as we are being very selective on what vid's are linked to these days.
However this is a familiar clip in fact and if analyzed it becomes clear that it is - general concensus - a set-up video. Superficially your reaction is predictable but - seemingly this did not happen for real.
Do some frame by frame checks - you may spot some oddities!

No prob's - so far. I think this can run for now although I'll see what the other mod's opinions are.
It is mainly cop shootings we have chosen to limit exposure on, as these are rarely very helpful and can promote considerable problems in discussion.

That video is already linked somewhere here on the site and, yeah, I believe the general consensus was that it was a setup by a couple of teenagers....

It was a hoax - there were two versions floating around at one point.

BINGO! this video went around several months back and it was noted then that it was a staged event.

Definitely staged
This is definitely staged. As said earlier, there is at least one other version out there. I have seen one (can't remember where or I would post a link) which shows the two protagonists actually setting the scene up. And shows the 'dead' BG after the event.

Setting aside the staged nature of the "gunfight", there is one tactical point to discuss.
Why would you bother waiting to shoot over the BG's cover when he pops up, when his "cover" is a rack of clothing? Put a couple through the center of the rack, and you may just end the thing without receiving any more fire...
Just a thought.

Because the guys making the short movie were making a short movie based on what they have seen on TV and in movies. If the "GG" really had training he would have shot through the clothing rack. Just another indication that some guys got together and "made a video".
