Damn! I hope that officer is ok as well.

Looks like the BG's luck ran out when he tried to take on the SUV.

Looks like the officers managed to get in some attitude rearrangement suggestions once they got him on the ground.

Point of interest: Police train for a certain car-chase maneuver whereby they tag the corner of your rear bumper and spin you out of control. For some reason, this guy knew how to do that.

Attempted murder with a vehicle? Could give this dirtbag a very long vacation.

He didn't pull it off like police do. Police hit the corner, causing your tires to move sideways and lose traction. This was just that, with the Crown Victoria being rear-wheel drive, the Crown Vic lost its acceleration when the other car lifted the rear end of the cruiser. Without acceleration, the silver car simply pushed it out of the way.

Notice that when he tried a real maneuver on what appeared to be a Suburban, which is much heavier and has squared edges that won't allow the silver car to slide under and lift it, he completely failed. I think he just got lucky with the first patrol car.

I would imagine his "attitude rearrangement" continued after he arrived at the PD. One can only hope anyway. I have ZERO sympathy for someone who assaults LEOs.

What I hate is when I see people like that get like 3 months in jail and 6 mos. probation. Exaggerated maybe but I sure seem to see guys like that get a sentence that doesn't match their danger and damage to society.

He was smart enough to open the door so he didn't get taken out the window.
