While I support gun rights, I also support gun education.

"I get people coming through my door all the time who know absolutely nothing about the use of force," said Doug Little, who owns and teaches at Armed Personal Defense Institute in Scottsdale. "It's important for them to understand the laws and consequences before they drop that thing in their pocket."

I agree and I do like the law but I do understand that many people don't know the laws. I would hope that most people would be responsible gun owners and learn the laws but I know that is asking too much... We don't hear alot about Vermont or Alaska having a bunch of shootings from people carrying a gun without a permit..

It's like anything else, there will be that small percent who will have issues. Overall I trust the people of Arizona and all law abiding gun packers for that matter.

Just a few years ago, there was a guy that visited The Lower 48 from Alaska, as he wanted to come down here for a prospecting vacation. He is a member of a metal detecting forum that my dad's a part of and also wanted to meet some people that he had met on the forum. He visited our western states and was shocked at how people were down here. If I can remember his quote correctly, he said something like this, "Well all, it was great meeting some of you while I was down there but I couldn't wait to get back home. A lot of people down there are rude and disrespectful. It's nice to get back home, where stupidity and ignorance gets you killed."

    Can't argue that!
