Wilma Creech said she was walking from her car to the restaurant around lunchtime at the Knightdale Boulevard restaurant when she was caught by surprise when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her purse.
"I evidently had a tight hold on it, and he pulled me so that it turned me back around," Creech said.
She fell and hit her head on the concrete. She suffered from bruises, scratches and a broken arm.
At 69 years old I doubt she would have been carrying but this story shows why the no carry in restaurants that serve alcohol endangers everyone, bad things do not always happen in the restaurant oftentimes the danger is just getting to or from your vehicle.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Hóka-héy! Crazy Horse
People always seem to think of Moe's tavern type places of gross drunkenness as related to lawful carry, but wholly forget/ignore that much of American places to take your family to eat do serve beer, mixed drinks and liquor as part of their normal business.
Anytime, anywhere, anyone.
