Don't do things you don't want to explain to the Paramedics!

    Stupidity should be painful.

to carry there. You can of course be fired if you carry against your employer's wishes, but "it is not a crime".
I was just pointing out the hospital did not have to post; as a Missouri resident I am well aware of the "not a crime" provision and take advantage of it when there is no alternative.

Gotcha. But thanks for the reminder because I am so used to ignoring the signs at hospitals here that I had forgotten they were on the list.

Some more info I heard on the news about the victim: she had changed her phone number and installed a security system at her house. She also believed she was being followed because psyco husband "seems to know too much about where I have been", which she relayed to friends shortly before her death. ("Psyco" is my word, not hers.)

They each had children, but none together, according to the news.

This coward's actions make me sick. Let justice be done.

A lot of could have been taken, but they were not. It's sad that this sort of thing is coming more into the main stream of society. No days you must be prepared at all times. Not just a firearm, but a buddy, whistles, knives, OC spray, etc.

Aren't "gun free zones" just wonderful, and they work so well.
