As a former LEO, and an average nobody from nowhere, I simply can't imagine how this ding-dong thought he would actually get away with it.

Having been present when NUMEROUS firearms were destroyed, I can empathize with the desire to "save" them. I cannot, however, empathize with the desire to sell them illegally. If and when convicted, I hope he enjoys the, what, 1030 years he could get for the possession charges alone?
