When the gun went off, Patel was hit in the stomach, but at virtually the same time, a second bullet from the gun hits the robber in the head, according to detectives.

Patel's dormant telekinetic powers kicked in instinctually. It's clear as day.

Can someone explain that to me? Because I understand zero . The robber’s cap fly away at the same time that the Clerk gets hit. If I am not wrong the robber is holding a revolver; how could it go off like that two times? And the guy to the left of the robber did not realize what was going on?

I wish I could explain it. I've watched the video over and over and I still cannot figure out how the bad guy was hit but he does drop to the ground. Sometimes things cannot be explained.

I wonder if he had a kaboom, and for that reason after shooting the clerk some part of the revolver hit the robber on his head .

    Nervous dirtbag, finger on trigger...
It doesn't look like he was planning on shooting, but it did happen.

wow, it is really hard to tell what happened, but my guess is he was surprised the gun went off and jerked the barrel up and kaboom bad guy down..

IMHO, it had to be a 2 fer 1 malfunction of some type. Both the shooter & clerk go down instantaneously at the same time. There was no "1 then 2" sequence at all. It appeared to be a total surprise to the BG as he had the gun pulled in close to his body as he was reaching outward with the other hand collecting cash. I surmise he had his finger on the trigger, cocked in SA (hair trigger) mode. Enough pressure on the trigger for a ND coupled with a "magic bullet", exploding parts, ricochet, etc. There definitely didn't appear to be 2 separate shots, everything happened at once with 1 blast. I'm not a ballistics expert, but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Asked by a CNN reporter "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist"?, the Marine sniper simply shrugged & replied "recoil".

If you start quick-tapping play/pause at 2:19 you clearly see a shot at Patel, the papers flying, and the gun pointing at the head of the robber and the second shot. If you get the right frame - you can see the splatter under the robber's chin.
The robber was taking an aggressive stance then, a split second later seems to relax - except he forgot to relax his trigger finger - not looking at his victim and must have had the surprise of his life.

I can't tell what happened, but it cheers me up to watch it.
