Why do you think that some people become chief?

FLORIDA CITY, Fla. -- Florida City’s police chief is facing scrutiny for inadvertently leaving his loaded service revolver in a Miami-Dade County park.
“No one got hurt. That's the most important thing,” said Chief Pedro Taylor.
I wonder how important that would be if John Q. Citizen did the same thing...NOT!
Sorry John Q.

They are making .40 cal revolvers.... now I want one of those. Should be interesting. Bad journalism, and the Chief messed up.

Gentlemen - we mock what we don't understand. Here is the Glock revolver that the officer left in the park:

But, that's a .38 spl., not a .40.

Hiram, you and I yes, chiefs, no. He probably carries so infrequently that he didn't even notice it was gone.

They quit making the Glock "revolver" because it was continually going off all by itself

And how do you not notice that your gun is missing? I mean if someone broke into my house and stole my shotgun, leaving no evidence of their entry or crime I might not notice for a couple days. I don't open up that closet every day. But your service weapon?
