    Yes, cops use ATM's too...

MIAMI (AP) -- Turns out the person three men tried to rob at a cash machine is a Miami-Dade police officer.

Police say the off-duty officer was withdrawing money from the ATM early Monday morning when he said three men pulled up in a truck, blocking the officer's car.

Obviously, poor victim selection abilities. Well done by the officer.

The would-be robbers are in stable condition in a hospital.
Time for some remedial work at the range.

He shot two of three. I guess the third found religion suddenly.

No, I think he suddenly decided to start turning his life around.
His mama is probably going to start telling us about it.

Nice shooting on the part of the cop.

LOL! Nice story and good outcome. You never know......and neither does the criminal anymore. That's a plus! We all need to keep them out of the loop while letting them know their gambling habits odds have changed.

Too bad it was only 2 in the hospital. Should have been 3 in the hospital. Wonder where the third went? I also wonder if the third guy even got out of the truck wanting to make a quick get away? Sounds to me to be a clean shoot for the officer.

I would have preferred three in the morgue, but I would have settled for three in the hospital. Then again, the important thing is that he's safe and they are in trouble.

"(He) shoots better, more accurate, faster, be able to move. He trains hard. He's highly motivated. He's very talented,"

His instructor had these fine remarks to say for the officer, but yet, 2 wound up in the hospital. Based on those comments, it only makes sense to me that they should have ended up in the morgue.

    Great lines

Shay Ben-David, a former commando in the Israeli army, is the officer's weapons trainer. Ben-David said the officer is one of the team's best.

"(He) shoots better, more accurate, faster, be able to move. He trains hard. He's highly motivated. He's very talented,"

"It's bad for anyone, even a highly capable individual like this. His training kicked in, and he was able to come out on top," Ben-David said.

3 vs 1 or 2 vs 1 still not bad outcome "Colleagues said the officer only receives bruises and scratches."

Great job by the officer, not perfect shooting(I'd prefer the scum dead.), but he stopped the threat, and hopefully three guys in FL are now making some 'career changes'.
