    WADSWORTH — A Guilford Town*ship man accused of abusing his girlfriend in front of her children reportedly was stopped by two peo*ple carrying handguns Sunday night at McDonald’s.

    Interesting comments by the police Lieutenant. Must have been quite a beating.

    I don't think I would have gone straight to the gun, but then we're not seeing what they were seeing.

    Yeah they are. I'm very familiar with this area, its its mostly a blue collar, conservative, agricultural rooted, bible thumping, filled with good people type of place. CCW is still fairly new in Ohio as well. So, that should explain his comments.

    Those type of situation are always 'IFFY.' Guess it would be a judgement call at the time.

    The girlfriend declined to press charges or file for a temporary protection order, the report said.
    Sadly he probably will return to continue the abuse or worse.

    I'm not sure what to make of this one. I like that the CCWs helped stop the assault, but I could see things going wrong in a hurry had police arrived and seen a guy holding a gun on another guy.

    This had all he makings of a disaster.
