Certainly there is some doubt, but I think the NewSlimes (oops, NewTimes) is looking for dirt to throw... that's their game.
Kudos to Sheriff Babeu for taking a concerned but neutral stance and seeking the truth.

The guy is an expert tracker (member of another board) - no way they'd figure it out if he chose to fake something like that. Anyone who thinks they can discern a .40 wound from a .311 wound in flesh is delusional, especially if it's just from a picture.

I give the "journalists" at the Phx NewSlimes a week at most to denounce the lab report. And we will never, ever see them print anything about their "suspicions" being unfounded.

Those of us that live on the border with the third world country commonly known as Mexico know what this invasion by opposing forces is like.
I didn't doubt his version of the events, but I despise the slime that call themselves journalist.
