Not to sound like your mother or anything, but I don't think you should be walking alone at that time in the morning no matter how safe you feel," she said.

The only "plan" is to increase SA by encouraging "dialog" between "police officers, maintenance workers, housekeepers, faculty, students and community residents."

I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.
I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

"not everybody is in our community of trust." In other words, get out of your own little world long enough to realize that there are big, bad people around you that want to do you harm. Not everyone, the bad people may be in the minority, but they're out there. Especially at 2 in the morning when you're drunk, and your credit card is hanging halfway out of your purse. Come to think of it, I don't know if someone who makes them self a moving target out of naivete, would be all that responsible with a gun.
