The officers said they feared for their safety and shot Ravel multiple times. He underwent surgery as a result of his wounds and is expected to survive.
The officers involved in the shooting have been either re-assigned or are on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
Odd, after shooting the attaker multiple times I would susspend the Officers and sentence them to the shooting range until they learn to be better marksmen.
