Another Range Suicide-Ft. Lauderdale Florida

Happened at Arizona Range. I pulled up to shoot about 10 minutes after it happened. Police were in parking lot and just started to tape off area.

As I heard from witnesses who were inside the range at the time:

Man came in and seemed really nervous. Was asking a lot of question about guns and rented a few of them. Went to his lane and shot a few down range. He was asking for help with them and some of the witnesses helped him.. One told me that everybody thought there was something wrong with this guy. Just jittery and sweating. After putting a few down range with a .357 magnum he put the gun under his chin and pulled the trigger. He left a several page note in his car out front which the investigators retrieved.

There never think or really don't care what it does to those they leave behind including the LEO/EMT who has to deal with the aftermath let alone any family or friends. Sad state of affairs.

Is this something that's sweeping the nation? I mean, I'm sort of out of the loop where this kind of thing has been happening.....I guess. Suicide should be done alone and in private. Maybe I'm just not up to speed if this sort of thing has been happening a lot.

Just did a quick search and found 2 incidents in the same year at "Shoot Straight" in castleberry Florida, 2 last year in Delray Florida within months of each other and this same place had one back in 2002. Also one in Orlando Florida at Riegs Gun Shop,

A very sad ending to life, any life.
I wonder how anything could be that bad...money, love, business, etc.
There ARE solutions to life's problems if one can subdue the emotions and cope a bit.

I keep thinking about seeing his car parked out front and how his wife and kids (if he had them) would not be seeing him walk through the door at the end of the day. How he probably waled out the door in the morning saying goodbye to his family and them thinking this was just an ordinary day.

Here is something for you all to learn from, share with your children and other people in your life to maybe avoid one tragedy like this.
