Kinda a happy ending,no innocents injured, one BG will survive his wounds, and they will be putting as many as three maybe 4 people in prison that we can help support.I really miss the old prison chain gangs where you work to pay for your keep

And if it was a law abiding citizen, they would have been out of luck. Does PA have bar carry?

Alaska doesn't. It makes the area outside the bar such a happy and safe hunting ground for the bad guys.

Reads like a clean shoot to me. I hope the officer was able to retrieve his shield and I.D. from the suspect(s).

Yep, sure is dangerous for folks to have guns in a bar. Who knows, such as that might help to apprehend some robbers. Sure wouldn't want that!

Thankfully, the Tennessee legislature over-rode Bredesen's veto (twice, thanks to the judge with no brains) and we can now carry in restaurants and bars.

    They didn't used to.
Years ago in the city where I used to live an off duty's weapon discharged in a popular nightspot. Put a hole right in the dance floor. It made the news and that was about it. And it wasn't his first time...

Yep. Carry all you want. And get this... you can even drink and carry. I don't agree with that, but there is no law against it.

You can go into a bar with car keys. I wonder why nobody cries foul over that one considering the resultant death toll is far higher.
