BAD- Shreveport PD officer fatally shot Sunday, suspect in custody
I didn't personally know this officer, but he lived near some of my family. I happened to drive by that convenience store today, it was business as usual there and it seemed sad for me to see that there were no flowers or ribbons at the open-for-business store. However, public and private flags were flying at half staff all over the city.
It seems the shooting was totally random and the officer essentially died from a bullet wound below his vest. In today's paper it had the mug shot of the shooter, and with great restraint I'll censor my personal comments about him.

I think there is/was a mug shot on the home page of this link, plus more about the story.

Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.

NW Louisiana, not in the Shreveport-Bossier area though, but lived there at one time.

I saw that too, and it made me wonder if the kid had a recent beef with his father, and this was the kids sick way of retaliating to hurt his father.

That works for me, but only after a speedy trial.
