So what was the point in filing a police report??...

I'm wondering if she found out...through the police talking to her son...that he eventually admitted to the officers that he was playing with the toy gun as well? There's also a possibility that the other kids pointed that out to the police and he finally admitted to it.

My wife was supposed to have our first child on Sunday, but we are still waiting. I will try to help my children to understand that common sense is not actually common, and what is clear and logical doesn't always matter to some people.

Very well said. I just showed this to my son to help him understand how crazy it can be out there in the real world.
