A remote gun range is not the place to get complacent.
The Usery Pass/Rio Salado range is hardly remote. It's one of the largest public ranges in the state.Quote:

I didn't realize that Usery Pass and Rio Solado were the same. Rio Solado is a nice range.
Not at the range on the road and there are mountain bike and hiking trail access off that road as well.
Technically, it's the Usery Pass Recreational Area, with trails and other facilities as well the range. It's state land, and the range is run by the Rio Salado club on a lease basis. They do a lot of fun stuff there, especially with the action shooting sports. I just started with their Tuesday Night Steel shoots this year until I got sidelined with some medical crap.Quote:
